Jason has had a dynamic career spanning light manufacturing, real estate

development, and master planning. In the realm of light manufacturing, he specialized in

producing a variety of architectural elements including millwork, doors, cabinets, granite

countertops, and architectural ironwork from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s.

Transitioning into real estate development, Jason's expertise expanded to encompass

roles such as owner, developer, builder, general contractor, grading contractor, and

specialty contractor. His portfolio includes a wide array of projects ranging from big-box

developments to residential communities. Notably, he collaborated with Southern Living

on their annual dream home projects in several Georgia locations.

Jason's qualifications include being a certified general contractor in Florida since 2008

and holding a LEED AP certification. He has pursued continuing education in various

areas such as business, accounting, building sciences, construction methodologies, and

engineering. Additionally, he has completed certification programs in specialized fields

including the Southern Living Custom Homebuilder Program and certifications for

equipment operation and specialty construction methods.

On a personal note, Jason is married to Robyn for 23 years and is a dedicated

participant in community and church activities, holding leadership roles at the First

Baptist Church of Smyrna for over two decades.

In recent years, Jason established Great South Development, a company focused on

development management for parcels of land with unique natural resources. Great

South Development emphasizes environmental stewardship and sustainable

development practices, striving to create communities that foster a deep connection

between people and the land. Their approach involves a collaborative team of

specialists spanning community development, conservation strategies, geological

analysis, market research, and site design.

As the leader of Great South Development, Jason's primary responsibilities include

setting the vision and scope for community development, recruiting and inspiring subject

matter experts, and fostering a creative and collaborative environment to develop best-

in-class, sustainable communities focused on quality of life.
